Challenge Series No.21 - Trade Paint: Gold (Need for Speed: Carbon)

This page is a candidate for deletion.
The following reason has been specified: This challenge isn't too hard.

"Trade Paint: Gold" (AKA Brimstone A.P.B.) is the 21st event in "Challenge Series" of Need for Speed: Carbon.

Why It Sucks

  1. It's a colossal difficulty spike in the whole "Challenge Series" even by the game's standards.
  2. Your car, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is one of the worst cars in the game due to suffering from weak acceleration, top speed and understeer (due to it being a tier 1 muscle car as opposed to tier 3 in other Gold Challenge Series events), which requires constant usage of Speedbreaker in order to steer properly. Even the Dodge Charger SRT-8 (tier 2 muscle car) from "Trade Paint: Bronze" is faster, nimble and a lot more fitting by comparison despite being heavier.
  3. If you don't reach the goal for a several minutes, you'll reach Heat Level 5 and the Chevelle SS is extremely impractical in the said level due to the flaws mentioned above. Also, once you reach it, it's nearly impossible to evade the cops due to rubberbanding (even worse when compared to the Rockport Police Department from Most Wanted '05) and endlessly respawning right in front of your face.
  4. Your reward is (literally) a useless cosmetic item, which feels like a massive kick in the groin (specially if you're going for the 100% completion).
