Colombia Missions (Hitman: Codename 47)

From Atrocious Gameplay Wiki

The Colombia Missions are a set of three missions in Hitman: Codename 47 where Agent 47 must make his way through the Colombian jungle to find and assassinate Pablo Ochoa.

Why These Missions Suck

  1. Two of the three missions betray the games nature of being a stealth game as they require you to play the game like a third-person shooter.
  2. The gunplay in the game is bad due to bullet strafe as there are many times where the bullets don't fire where you aim.
  3. If that wasn't bad enough, 47 doesn't have a lot of health meaning he can die very easily.
  4. These qualities are more frustrating when you realize there is no checkpoint or save point system meaning if you die you have to play them all over again.
  5. It's impossible to silently assassinate Pablo as he will immediately recognize you and start firing. The only way to do so is to run behind him and slit his throat, but you have to be fast.
  6. There is a bug in the third mission where the game crashes upon detonating the bomb while running.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. These missions weren't remade in Hitman: Contracts.
  2. The player can actually kill Pablo from the start of the mission, if they still have the R93 rifle.
