Deadly Dance Hall-Jump, Jump! (Splatoon 3)

From Atrocious Gameplay Wiki
The game tells you to survive for a minute. 1 minute later, OUCH!

Deadly Dance Hall-Jump, Jump! is the 10th level of Future Utopia Island and the 15th level overall of Return of Mammalians from Splatoon 3. This level is infamous for the difficulty spike and for being part of the first area, not counting the Prologue.

Why It's a Deadly Dance

  1. This level is infamous for being placed in the first area, cause, you know having the easiest difficulties for many levels.
  2. Player must survive for a minute while jumping, while this might be good on paper, it looks like you are going to spam B buttons to just evade shockwaves from Amped Octostamp.
  3. This level is a rehash of Move It Move It Station from Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion.
  4. When time progresses, Amped Octostamps appear more often, thus making the difficulty spike even worse.
  5. Players cannot use weapons, which is upsetting since players should have evaded while swimming with ink after using weapons to make the level easier.
  6. There is only one life for the player, and it is repetitive at best.
  7. The environment looks dark enough to see making the gameplay worse.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Thankfully, this is optional and it costs 10 Power Eggs to start this level.
  2. Once players survive, they can be rewarded with 2000 Power Eggs, which is amazing. However, they can reward 600 Power Eggs for repeatable methods.
