Eagle G (Mega Man X5)

From Atrocious Gameplay Wiki
Even Mega Man X is not save from annoying enemies as these guys.

Eagle G are enemies from Mega Man X5, they are Ride Armor enemies who appear in the Sigma Stages, and are the most powerful Ride Armor enemies in the game.

Why They Suck

  1. Unlike most Ride Armor enemies in Mega Man X5, Eagle G's have a shield, so they can block attacks.
  2. Eagle G have a form of projectile, that being energy lasers shot from the cannons.
  3. Eagle G will only be vulnerable if their attacking, so it can be a problem.
  4. Not only can Eagle G shoot straight, they can also shoot down diagonally.
  5. Being enemies primarily found in the final post-Maverick stages, Eagle Gs can do a lot of damage, and even chip damage can be an issues.
  6. Eagle Gs tend to be in group with other enemies, so good luck fighting them while dealing with smaller enemies with projectiles.
  7. Eagle Gs are in very cheap placements, such as humps or above platforms.
  8. Eagle Gs are the most problematic when fighting them as X in his Gaia Armor, as they can even block X's charge shoots.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Eagle Gs have neat designs.
  2. Much like Fission Metroids, Eagle Gs are not seen until the finale stages of the game, that being the Sigma Stages, so you can be prepare before facing them.
  3. They can easily be dispatched with certain shield-piercing attacks, such as:
    1. Any Giga Attack
    2. The Falcon Armor's Charge Shot and Flight
    3. X's charged F-Laser
