There's a reason why the first act of this zone was deleted from the Sonic universe forever after Sonic Advance.

Egg Rocket Zone Act 1 is the first half of the sixth zone from Sonic Advance. It is one of the hardest levels in the game, but for all the wrong reasons.

Why It Sucks

  1. It is the longest stage in the entire game. There are three sections in this stage, and they are all huge.
  2. Because the sections are huge, it's easy to get lost in them.
  3. One of the springs leads you directly into a spike trap.
  4. It is very easy to fall into bottomless pits.
  5. Cheap enemy placement.
  6. You only have 5 minutes to reach the next section of the stage, because if you die or run out of time, you'll have to restart the entire section of the stage.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The second act of the sixth zone, Cosmic Angel Zone Act 2, is a bit better.
  2. The music is good.
