Eric Dickerson (Madden NFL 20)

From Atrocious Gameplay Wiki

Eric Demetric Dickerson (born September 2, 1960) is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons, mostly with the Los Angeles Rams.

He is infamously remembered in Madden NFL 20's Ultimate Team Mode for being a game-breaker with the Freight Train 100. He got a 94 overall card as part of the NFL 100 promo, a program to honor the greatest NFL players on the NFL's 100th anniversary.

Why He is a Game Breaker

  • He starts on with the Freight Train 100 Superstar X-Factor already equipped, and activated, which he easily breaks tackles.
  • His X-Factor can only be ended by tackling him for a loss.
  • He played on four different NFL teams, namely, the Los Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles (now Las Vegas Raiders) and Atlanta Falcons.
  • He was given his broken X-Factor again in Madden NFL 24's Ring of Honor promo.

Redeeming Qualities

  • At least, his X-Factor was later nerfed, reducing the knockout requirements from tackled for a loss to being on the field for 5 plays.
  • His Ultimate Legend was only a 97 overall (or 98 overall), which meant, cards like the Golden Ticket Bo Jackson overshadowed his Ultimate Legend.
