Guardian Angel (Saints Row: The Third)
|
Guardian Angel is an activity from mh:awesomegames:Saints Row: The Third. It involves your playable character defending your homie from gang members, it has two segments; one segment involves you shooting RPG launchers at gang cars in a helicopter as your homie tries to go from A to B and another segment involves your playable character having to try and kill gang members with a sniper rifle.
Why It Sucks
- It is a lousy rip off to Heli-Assault activity as the concept for this activity is very similar to that activity.
- The activity is extremely time-consuming as it takes forever for the homies to get from A to B.
- It is also one of the few activities that has to be played to advance into the story.
- Shooting the gang cars with your RPG in the helicopter segments feels extremely off as your RPG shots aren't always accurate when you try to shoot a gang car since the helicopter is moving at the same time.
- The difficulty is improperly balanced: Sometimes the activity can simply just beat itself without laying a finger on the controller but then there's also times where it is so hard that you can't even beat it.
The Only Redeeming Quality
- This activity only appeared in Saints Row: The Third and never appeared again in any other Saints Row game.
Trivia
- Guardian Angel was supposed to appear as an activity in mh:awesomegames:Saints Row 2, but it was scrapped before the game's release. The activity's icon can still be found in the game files, though.
