This stage isn't as bad as the previous, but it's still tedious.

Hang Castle and Mystic Mansion are the eleventh and twelfth stages respectively in Sonic Heroes. While not as bad as Casino Park or BINGO Highway, Hang Castle and Mystic Mansion are still infamous for their tedious length and frustrating enemy placement.

Why Both Stages Suck

Overall

  1. They are extremely tedious, as they over rely on switches.

Hang Castle

  1. It is extremely easy to screw up and get an E Rank on this stage due to the fact that switching the gravity can miss a jump.
  2. The last section of this stage is not only very long, but it is also frustrating, as you have to jump over spike balls.
  3. Because this stage over relies on gravity changing switches, it is nearly impossible to complete Team Sonic's extra mission for this stage.

Mystic Mansion

  1. Accessing the sixth Special Stage is obnoxious due to the fact that there are tons of enemies.
  2. The bobsled sections are mind-numbingly repetitive, as there are four of them in this stage.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The music in these stages is phenomenal.
