Knuckle Joe Spirit Battle (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)

From Atrocious Gameplay Wiki

The Knuckle Joe Spirit Battle is an Ace-Type spirit battle, and it pits you against Ryu. It is disliked for its difficulty.

But hey, at least there could be something way harder, right?

Why It Knocks Them Out

  1. Ryu is a complete spammer, as he costantly spams his special moves.
  2. His Side Special is the most common move he spams, as he constantly uses it. To add more salt on the wound, almost 75% of the spirit battle is about him spamming the move.
  3. It also does high damage, and is so fast making it a pain to dodge.
  4. As you may have expected, a Knuckle Joe will appear in this spirit battle, and he is annoying like a mosquito. He constantly tries to rain punches you and can use Smash Punch and Rising Break, and Smash Punch is so fast. Rising Break can do high damage, but not only that, but even Ryu can help him by attacking you.
  5. His elbow attack and Down-N are obnoxious annoying moves, as they can hold you in place for getting hit by other attacks.
  6. The battle's stage, Find Mii's Omega Form, is so small, unlike Atricuno, Zapdos and Moltres, which takes place on its Battlefield form.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The idea of making the AI Ryu is a good idea.
  2. Thankfully, after a little bit, Knuckle Joe will disappear, so now you can focus on Ryu.
  3. It grants Fist Attack, and can also provide great boosts to punch attacks, like Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch, Ganondorf's Warlock Punch and Luigi's Super Jump Punch.
