Metal Sonic (Sonic the Fighters)

Metal Sonic may be a likable villain but in this game he is just unfair.

Metal Sonic is a major antagonist of the Sonic The Hedgehog series. He made his debut in Sonic CD and has become a fan favorite ever since. He has many great boss fights, his fight in Sonic The Fighters however has been panned by players for its qualities.

Why He Sucks

  1. Huge difficulty spike.
  2. Metal Sonic's attacks do insane amounts of damage especially that move where he grabs you, lifts you up, and slams you on the ground.
  3. Not only do Metal Sonic's attacks do insane amounts of damage but the player character will barely do any damage to him.
  4. He moves way too fast.
  5. The laser Metal Sonic shoots from his stomach has ridiculously pro aim and speed.
  6. Tying into WHS #5, due to the abysmal hit direction it makes Metal Sonic nearly impossible to hit.
  7. He has ridiculously brutal AI as he will always block your attacks.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. Just like the rest of the songs in this game, his theme absolutely slaps.
