Neera Li (Freedom Planet)

Neera Li is the Royal Magister's advisor and the chief of the Shang Tu Police Department, and the mini boss of Jade Creek.

Why She Sucks

Before she appears, ice starts to drop, which can damage you, if not ready.
Neera Li, just like Prince Dail during his fight in Battle Glacier, will summon a shield to protect herself to attacks. However, unlike Dail, which always summons a Metal Shield, Neera will either summon a Fire, a Water or an Earth shield. The Fire Shield is dangerous, because it can damage enemies on contact.
When Neera uses her melee attack, a clone of her cryo staff will appear, damaging the player. This will always happen.
After shooting a cryo staff clone, Neera will jump to where the player is standing and repeats the attack.
If she gets hurt, Neera will jump, throws ice from her staff to the ground and summons another random shield, which can be difficult and annoying at the same time.
On Hard Mode, Neera Li will pay attention to the player's movement and will react by quickly turning around to attack the player if he/she attempts to attack her from behind.

After defeating her, Neera Li will attempt to stop the player again in the second part of Jade Creek, only to be frozen by an ice missile, making this ironic twist pretty hilarious.
She becomes a playable character in Freedom Planet 2.
