Sloth (Bayonetta 2)

From Atrocious Gameplay Wiki
Don't let that name fool you, this thing is more then just a sloth.

Sloth is a four armed demon that wields swords in all four arms, and is a demon boss in Bayonetta 2, it serves as the main boss of Chapter 10: The Depths, the twelfth chapter of the game, is the third/final boss of that Chapter and is overall the twenty-first boss of the game, it later on appears as a boss in an optional segment of Chapter 10, Verse 11.

While not a difficult boss, Sloth has been infamous due to its tartaric attack patterns, and is often considered as one of the most annoying bosses in the whole game.

Why This Boss Sucks

  1. Despite its name, Sloth is SUPER fast and quick, and can easily avoid all of Bayonetta's attacks.
  2. Sloth has a huge vriaty of dangious attacks, all of which are extremely quick and hard to avoid.
  3. Sloth has super armor, meaning that it will not flinch from Bayonetta's attacks.
    1. While that is normally coming for boss enemies in the Bayonetta series, those that have super armor have very slow and easy to avoid attack, thats not the case with Sloth.
  4. Sloth has a habit of tricking the player, one example is its downwards sword slash, fallowed by another sword slash, it is easy for First-Time Players to get hit by the latter attack.
  5. From a distance, Sloth will fire off energy slashes from it's swords, they are very fast and hard to avoid.
  6. If you think that you can cheese this boss by fire bullets from a distance, think again, as Sloth can avoid all bullets.
  7. Much like other enemy bosses, Sloth has very high defense.
  8. In Verse 11 of Chapter 10, you fight Sloth and demon enemies that can buff up Sloth's attacks, making this segment very annoying.
  9. Despite Sloth's high difficulty, it's a both you fight in Chapter 10, which is a mid-game level.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Sloth has a wicked and cool design.
  2. If you use a big attack on Sloth, you gain its weapons, which are very powerful.
