The Forgotten Hall is a stage in Dragon's Dogma, it only can be accessed on classic Dark Arisen and it's next-gen versions, it is accessed through Rotwood Depository and leads to The Bloodless Stockade, this dungeon is well-known for it's unfair difficulty and cheap enemy placements according down below.

Why It Sucks

General

  1. This dungeon is very dark, like the image above, it is enlighted with Magickal Radiance to show how the dungeon looks like, without it, it will be completely pitch black, this is true that the more you explore the depths more the dark will increase further.
  2. This dungeon is infested with obnoxious necrophagous beasts like the garm.
  3. In the chamber room, there are two chained giant gorecyclops, if you attack them too much, they will break the chains and crush you to death.[1]
  4. Death also appear in this dungeon.

Pre-Daimon

  1. Cheap enemy placement: The biggest beginner traps are the infamous Corrupted Pawns lurking in the chamber room very close with that two gorecyclopses, and sometimes 3 garms will appear in the chamber room to make the battle completely impossible.
    • They also will spam High Maelstrom & High Seism until you're completely massacred.
  2. Sirens in the chamber room will easily heal the corrupted pawns, garms and it's gorecyclopses by their singing.
  3. At the start of the dungeon in the second floor, you will encounter a lich.

Post-Daimon

  1. At the start of the dungeon in the second floor, you will encounter two Liches, some Hellhounds or two pairs of Golden Knights and Silver Knights.
  2. In the chamber room, may you encounter Sirens or Strigois, two Eliminators or a few Corrupted Pawns.
    • Garms still appear in this dungeon.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The dungeon is short, if you dont want to kill the enemies, just run pass them to the exit.
  2. It's a great place to make infinite gorecyclops loot exploit by using Master Thief skill.
  3. Decent name for a dungeon like this.
  4. The difficulty spike of this dungeon will decrease further after you defeat daimon for the first time.
  5. Garms sometimes will appear too on the second floor rather than on the chamber room to make the battle easier.
