The Kelp Forest (Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom)

From Atrocious Gameplay Wiki

The Kelp Forest is a level in SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom. This level is infamous for its qualities.

Why It Sucks

1. The main problem with this level is that it's extremely dark! and as you progress through it the darker it becomes.

2. Once you progressed through the level a bit there is a platforming segment where you have to bounce on the leaves and grab stone tikis to put them on the pedstals the problem with this is that the leaves you bounce on are dark green. This is not a good idea because the leaves blend in with the water so it will be hard to tell if your jumping to a leaf or to your doom.

3. After that you get to the Kelp Cave. Here's a question: Why does an already dark forest need a cave??!!. There's even less light in the cave then there was outside meaning that if you fall off a ledge you'll have no choice but to climb back up to try again.

4. Inside the Kelp Cave you must grab 6 crystals inside cave to give barnacle boy the power to trim his nose hairs faster this would be easy if the cave wasn't so dark!

5. After you get through the Kelp Cave you get to the Kelp Vines. You need to slide down the vines in order to get the golden spatula at the end. This is easier said then done as the vines are very skinny which could cause you to fall of of them easily and also there is a very sharp turn near the end of the vines. Sliding on painfully skinny vines in the dark isn't that just lovely?

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The Music is fitting for the environment.
  2. The Kelp Forest massively redeemed itself in Spongebob Sqaurepants Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated.
  3. The Kelp Forest itself is a likable place.
