Wario's Gold Mine (Mario Kart Wii)

NOTE: This will just be focusing on the Mario Kart Wii version of Wii Wario's Gold Mine, since the Mario Kart 8 retro track of the same has improved.

Wario's Gold Mine (Mario Kart Wii)
After two awesome tracks (Coconut Mall and DK Summit), Mario Kart Wii's Flower Cup takes a huge nosedive with a track that almost ruins an otherwise solid cup.

Mute City (Egg Cup; Mario Kart 8/8 Deluxe)
Next Level: Daisy Circuit (Star Cup; Mario Kart Wii)

Wario's Gold Mine is a race track from Mario Kart Wii. It is the fourth and final track from the Flower Cup. This track is infamous due to its rollercoaster-like layout, Swoops, and minecarts.

Why It Sucks

  1. This track is way too hard from the Flower Cup, and it almost singlehandedly ruins it.
  2. The track is designed like a rollercoaster, giving the player a very uncomfortable feeling that they will be knocked off the course.
  3. The Swoops at the entrance to the mine can slow you down quite a bit if you run into a lot of them.
  4. The shortcut isn't accessible all the time, as a minecart will either be in your way or it won't.
  5. The minecarts are the worst part of this track, as they can send you falling off the course.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. This track has been vastly improved in Mario Kart 8, as the minecarts no longer cause you to fall off and instead give you a speed boost due to the inside having anti-gravity. Also, the track no longer has an uncomfortable feeling.
  2. The music is catchy.
  3. The graphics looks terrific.
  4. The race track is used for a Mario Kart Wii tournament which includes a race against a Wiggler.
